Mister is not only the eldest son of Discord and Rarity Belle, he’s also their clingiest child. He LOVES attention, good or bad. Mister struggles to be independent as he doesn’t enjoy being alone with his thoughts. So he surrounds himself with people. For Mister, it’s quantity over quality so very few of his friends are very close. He’s extremely vain and cares a little too much about what others think about him. However he compensates by having a quick tongue and a mouth full of sass, so his peers tend to fear him slightly.
 
If he’s not spreading rumors around Ponyville, verbally destroying people he dislikes to start drama, being the center of attention, or tormenting his little sister and her friends, you’ll find him spending a decent amount of time with his parents. For a stallion of his age, he really spends a lot of time with Rarity and Discord. His mother often has little time for either of her kids so Mister sort of forces himself into situations with her. He taught himself how to sew so he could help Rarity and be around her more. If he wasn’t such an adorable pest, she’d find that fact more endearing. His tendency to demand affection at an inopportune time works well with Discord however and Mister tends to spend most of his time with his dad.
 
Despite being a little annoying, Chihiro absolutely adores him. Ethereal…not so much.  
Ethereal [daughter of Celestia and Discord, i.e. his older half-sister] hates him. She struggled with the fact that Discord remarried and for a long time she despised Rarity. As she got older, she began to soften to Rarity and eventually her half-sister Chiaroscuro…but she HATES Misanthropy.  
In the beginning, it was because he was her father’s new son from a new marriage. But with time she found him fake, as he never uses his true chaos form despite being one of the most magically gifted creatures she knows. The two often spar…verbally and physically.
 
The worst thing you could do to Mister is ignoring him. The only pony who can do this with any success is an Apple farmer named Shenandoah Apple…Misanthropy is obsessed with this stallion. One of these days Shenandoah will love him…yeah…totally.
