Description

  1. One of the things that really kick-started Chrysanthemum’s passion for tea was her reliance on it after surviving a nasty bout of ignisponylmonem - or “fire lung” disease. After her cousin Juniper made the antidote and saved her life, it took quite a few weeks to recover. Eating and drinking were difficult chores for a little awhile (which is hard, taking into consideration that she’s an Apple). But the cups of tea her parents, aunts, and uncles brought her were warm and soothing. The warmth of a sweet earl grey with just a dash of honey almost felt like it could seep into her very bones and lift the ache from them. The comfort Chryssi derived from the leafy drinks made her think about how other ponies could feel better, too…

2. While Chryssi later found her talent in teamaking, this gal is a hardworking Apple to the core. Because Juniper was weaker as a filly (and, well, mostly blind, too), she couldn’t work all of the normal daily chores on the farm (much to her chagrin). But her bighearted cousin is always reassuring her that she doesn’t mind the work she does. When she was little, it gave her some great opportunities to bond with her beloved father. Some of her fondest memories are of the quiet stallion teaching her the intricacies of orchard farming, and the importance of what they do. The green filly eats all of her father’s lessons up like candy, and proves to be an asset to Sweet Apple Acres.

3-4. As she gets older, her work ethic never wavers. Chrysanthemum loves her work, and takes each chore in stride. A mare that can hardly ever say “no,” most whatever her family or friends need, she is right there and ready to help. Her strength is matched by her cheerful demeanor, and most often she completes her work with a few songs (and loves to strike up the random weekly village tune with the townsfolk). The unicorn is quite a chatterbox, but her sunny disposition and bubbly conversation usually manage to put a smile on most any creature’s face. Knowing she’s helped out another creature, or when her family tells her how proud they are; it makes it all worthwhile to the green mare.
