shining shadow: prince of spectral empire (as in the case of comic 1 of shadow, the land of the umbrus) but his story is referenced to nightmare moon from which he is exiled to the arctic by his sister twilight, current ruler of equestria for his betrayal, since he had fallen in love with cadance but she left him for another but not with the intention of a bad mare but she could not be with him because she was already committed to someone she did not love who could not leave him for peace treaties, So shining tries to stop the wedding but he never imagined who he would marry, he has a cold and indifferent sadistic attitude, he does not like to be interrupted in his fun (mentally tortures his victims) and he is crazy as discord but not in the way nice, hates seriousness because it bores him.
 
Shadow lighting: prince of the crystal empire, captain of the guard and husband of princess cadance. The truth is he did not love her either but if he did not marry her the crystal ponies would declare war on Equestria so he was forced to marry her but his life is very unhappy as being with her suffocates him more because it reminded him of his love of child but she was corrupted and turned evil, but that did not stop him from giving his life for his crystal ponies, he has a serious attitude but in a serene way he is intelligent and he does not like you to ask him about his past he has the temperament of the moon so never make him angry, he hates the practical jokes in bad taste, he laughs more often at the pleasant jokes of maud pie.
