Oh no! Equestria’s has more baddies to worry about. While they have no come close to be the most dangerous foes, like Nightmare Moon, Discord, Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, and others, these fiends still caused grief to everypony. From arrogant magicians to sleazy con-artists, from dirty dogs to fearsome monsters, from greedy tomb raiders to rapacious crime bosses, from vindictive veterans to manipulative managers, from maniacal supervillains to a prideful princesses, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic still has some heinous enemies, even within the seasons.
 
Here are the other enemies we all love to hate. Just like my last villain group pic, I brought together the fiends that attacked the Mane Six and others throughout the show. However, for this pic, I was unable to place all the other antagonists because there are way too many. So I’m gonna place them in another compilation. I already had vectors of Trixie and Verko before the whole group projects. After taking half a year of not doing anymore villains, I decided to get back to work. However, this took longer, months actually, but there are a lot of fiends to put in this and the next one to follow. The real challenges were Mane-Iac and Daybreaker. Since Trixie and the Flim Flam Brothers are perhaps the most memorable and popular in-season antagonists, so they steal the show.
 
After Nightmare Moon was defeated by the Mane Six, this would only be the beginning for more enemies. But not all foes were super-powerful Alicorns. There was one who thought she was all “Great and Powerful”…
 
Trixie - This traveling magician is the star of a one-pony magic show. Trixie Lulamoon believed she was quite superior to other ponies and was known to exaggerate her abilities from time to time. She bragged herself to be “the most magical unicorn in all of Equestria,” and even called herself the Great and Powerful Trixie. She arrived in Ponyville sometime after the defeat of Nightmare Moon. During her show, Trixie boasted constantly about her great magical abilities, claiming to have vanquished an ursa major, an enormous celestial bear-like creature that normally could never be defeated by just one pony. Only two ponies, two Unicorn foals named Snips and Snails, openly believed Trixie’s claims. Although Trixie felt good about herself, she didn’t know that her new big fans - Snips and Snails - lured an ursa major (actually an ursa minor) back to Ponyville and have her use her magic tricks to defeat it. Her stage magic didn’t work, and she admited that she couldn’t defeat an ursa major and never have, and that she made the whole story up to make herself look better. Twilight, however, used her magic to soothe the giant bear to sleep and gave it a “bottle” of milk constructed from the water tower before sending it back to its cave in the Everfree Forest, back to its mother’s embrace. After Twilight explained that the ursa major was really an ursa minor, Trixie resumed her arrogance, saying that Twilight would never have the same power as her, and galloped away. However, after that time, Trixie could no longer perform her traveling magic show, as other ponies in Equestria mocked and ostracized her for her boasts and lies, and then she had to take a job at Pinkie Pie’s family’s rock farm to earn her keep, which in the end humiliated her. And this would be the beginning of a great and terrible path for Trixie…
 
The arrogant magic pony returned to Ponyville, only this time, she wanted revenge! She acquired a dangerous object of power, the Alicorn Amulet, and used it to challenge Twilight Sparkle to a magic duel as reprisal towards Twilight for showing her up when she defeated the ursa minor. Trixie defeated Twilight with her new powers and banished her from Ponyville. She then took over Ponyville, remaking it in her own image, forcing its citizens to do labor for her, and punishing anypony who refused. She was especially hard on her only fans, Snips and Snails, constantly making them work harder. Little did she know, the Alicorn Amulet would corrupt its wearer, and Trixie became more and more villainous as she wore. When Twilight returned, she claimed to have an amulet stronger than Trixie’s, and Trixie accepted a second duel. In the second duel Trixie was only able to cast one spell before staring on in horror as Twilight performed spells that she herself could not. Immediately after Twilight won, Trixie stole her amulet so that she could rule all of Equestria. But once she removed the Alicorn Amulet and put the new one on, Twilight revealed this was all a trick she set up, and Rainbow Dash snatched away the Alicorn Amulet and gave it to the zebra Zecora to put it back in hiding. To make amends for her horrible behavior, Trixie provided fireworks to back Twilight’s entertainment provision for the visiting Saddle Arabians. Later on, the repentant pony apologized, explaining that the amulet had corrupted her and she couldn’t stop herself from being cruel to everypony. Trixie asked Twilight for forgiveness, to which Twilight obliged. Trixie now knows that friendship really is the most powerful magic of all.
 
Flim and Flam - These two Unicorn brothers would spend their days traveling all over Equestria, looking for potential victims to swindle them out of their bits. This pair of sleazy salesponies would do all they can to get ponies into buying their wares and fall for their scams, like singing and dancing. The two tricksters first came to Ponyville on their Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000, cider-squeezing machine, bursting into a theatrical song and dance, pitching their device to the Apple family’s thirsty patrons. When the Apples refuse to buy into the scheme, Flim and Flam threatened to put them out of business by becoming their sole cider competitor. The brothers returned the next day and provoked the Apples into a cider-making competition to garner the rest of the town’s favor: Whoever produced the most barrels will be the winner. However, if the Apples lost the competition, they would lose the family farm. The Apple family used manual labor to contend with the brothers, but Flim and Flam’s technology outproduced the Apples. Applejack’s friends offered their help to the Apples, the additional help allowing the family to produce barrels much faster and endanger the brothers’ lead. In a panic, the devious brothers enhanced their machine’s suction and turned off its quality control setting, causing it to suck up apples, good and bad, and whole trees, and pulping and mixing the apples with rocks and branches. At the end of the competition, Flim and Flam produced the most barrels and were declared the winners. However, their tactics caused their cider to be so unpalatable that everypony refused to buy it. Realizing they lost Ponyville’s business, Flim and Flam fled to the next town.
 
But these two crooks would return and began selling a product called the “Flim Flam Miracle Curative Tonic”, using a musical number to hype it as a panacea able to cure any ailment and injury, and even restore youth, among other outrageous claims. The tonic appeared to work on a crutch-wielding volunteer in the audience, who casted off his crutches after drinking it; and later on Granny Smith, who overcame her fear of swimming. Suspicious of Flim and Flam, Applejack discovered that the volunteer pony, Silver Shill, was part of the brothers’ act to promote the tonic. When confronted by Applejack, the two admitted that their tonic was a useless mixture of apple juice and beet leaves. However, they also pointed out that Granny Smith’s life improved from it, leaving Applejack into silence by suggesting that she would be denying her grandmother that happiness if the truth is revealed. The next day, Flim and Flam sold their entire stock of tonic to Granny Smith for her to perform at the Ponyville Swim Meet, while Applejack unwittingly approved of its apparent beneficial effects, boosting their credibility. They set up shop at the swimming competition, promoting Silver Shill to help sell their tonic. However, Applejack realized the bad example her dishonesty was setting for others and, after stopping Granny Smith from performing a dangerous high diving stunt, revealed that the tonic was fake. The brothers tried to save face by endorsing the tonic’s placebo effects, but Silver Shill, inspired by Applejack’s honesty, intervened and confirmed the brothers’ quackery. Defeated again, the two quacks hastily fled Ponyville again.
 
Soon the two ne’er-do-wells arrived at a luxury resort in Las Pegasus, where they were hired by its owner named Gladmane. However, the two started opposingly selling performance tickets to ponies and frequently argued. When Applejack and Fluttershy were sent to Las Pegasus by the Cutie Map and found the two arguing, Fluttershy believed they were sent to help the two settle their differences, but Applejack refused to help due to her enmity with the brothers. Through their individual investigations, Applejack and Fluttershy discovered that Gladmane intentionally caused arguments between the two brothers, as well as other resort employees, in order to keep them working for him. They informed Flim and Flam of Gladmane’s trickery, and Flim and Flam helped them expose his lies with an elaborate ruse. After Gladmane was publicly disgraced and driven out of management, Flim and Flam took over ownership of the resort.
 
But that didn’t stop these two from causing trouble and scams. Since Twilight Sparkle opened up her School of Friendship, Flim and Flam got the inspiration to open up a university specialized in teaching friendship. When news spread of this, Twilight and Rarity arrived at the brothers’ Friendship University. The two made promises of teaching friendship in half the time as Twilight’s school, using the enrollment of the famous wizard Star Swirl the Bearded as incentive for the other students to work harder. However, the university was eventually revealed to be a front to fund the expansion of their Las Pegasus resort. Twilight, who had been blackmailed by Flim and Flam for snooping around to expose them as frauds, and Rarity, who discovered the front, forced the swindlers to close the school and refund its students after Twilight and Rarity exposed their scam to Star Swirl. When Hearth’s Warming was around the corner, Flim and Flam arrived at Rainbow Falls in disguise selling cheap “Holly the Hearth’s Warmer” dolls to fund another expansion of their resort. Applejack and Fluttershy foiled their scheme by convincing their customers to put more time and effort into their Hearth’s Warming gifts. Flim and Flam were run out of Rainbow Falls by their angered customers, and were left with boxes of their unsold merchandise.
 
Even though the two chiselers took part in the final battle against Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow, it’s quite clear, even to Applejack, that they have been, still are, and always will be unrepentant opportunists scamming anypony they come across.
 
The Diamond Dogs - Dirty, dumb yet dangerous, the three Diamond Dogs (Rover, Fido, and Spot) don’t crave for bones but gems. In fact, they crave them so much they once abducted Rarity after they discovered that she could locate gems with her magic, dragging her down their extensive system of underground mines. They attempted to force her to find gems for them, but resourceful Rarity only put on a complaining and whining act, tricking them into doing all the work while she relaxed and got pampered. When Rover got wise to this, he forced Rarity to pull the gem cart, calling her a mule. In response, Rarity acted hurt, crying loudly about being compared to an “old, ugly mule.” By the time Rarity’s friends arrived to save her, the Diamond Dogs were begging for Rarity to leave, even letting her take all their gems with her. That was the last time anypony saw those miscreant mongrels now that they now know it was a VERY bad idea to capture a pony to find gems.
 
Ahuizotl - The Forbidden Jungle south of Equestria are the stomping grounds of Equestria’s famous treasure hunter, Daring Do. But it also houses a fearsome beast with the face, body and hind legs of a ferocious dog, and the hands and tail of a manic monkey, and the tail ends with a grabby monkey’s hand. This terrifying creature was Daring Do’s archenemy, Ahuizotl! Intimidating and devious, Ahuizotl seemed to be Daring Do’s rival in stealing artifacts in his territory, Tenochtitlan Basin, and possibly use them for some nefarious plans. He’s gone toe-to-hoof with Daring Do a time or two, and when backed into a corner, Ahuizotl would command his army of MesoaMAREican warriors and pack of jungle cats to strike!
 
In one of Daring Do’s adventures, she recovered the Sapphire Stone after going through a series of trials in a temple. However, her victory was cut short when the fiendish Ahuizotl and his jungle cats appeared and took the statue from her. The beast then tied Daring Do to an altar in the temple and pulled a lever, re-igniting the ancient security system to kill her off. At first, Ahuizotl felt good about his victory, but Daring Do, who escaped and snatched the Sapphire Statue from him, leaving him in a vengeful rage.
 
Although everypony believed that Daring Do and Ahuizotl were fictional characters, Rainbow Dash and her friends discovered that they were very real! They also discovered that Daring Do acquired the Rings of Scorchero from Ahuizotl as he planned to use them to bring about eight hundred years of unrelenting heat. However, the rings were stolen by another formerly fictional figure, Dr. Caballeron, who planned on selling them to Ahuizotl for a bundle. Ahuizotl, however, angrily appeared and demanded the rings, frightening the thief. After Daring snatched the ring away, Ahuizotl ordered his jungle cats to attack her. Using the nearby Rainbow Dash as bait, Ahuizotl distractws Daring Do long enough for her to be subdued and restrained, then haul her off to the Fortress of Talacon. After leaving Daring Do bound to a wall in a chamber filling with piranha-infested water, Ahuizotl and his warriors began a ritual with the Rings of Scorchero. However, Daring Do, and now also the Mane Six, removed the rings, causing the Fortress of Talacon to come crumbling down. Surviving the temple’s destruction, Ahuizotl swore revenge on Daring Do.
 
Dr. Caballeron - Ahuizotl was not the only enemy Daring Do had to tangle with. Caballeron is an archaeologist and treasure hunter like her, but unlike the brave heroine who would acquire artifacts to keep them protect from those who would misuse them, he would steal them and sell them for money. Of course grave-robbing and tomb-raiding isn’t an easy feat, nor a safe one for that matter. So to protect his own hide, Caballeron tried to form a partnership with Daring Do, but since she prefered to operate alone (and since she knew he was up to no good), the two treasure hunters became rivals and enemies ever since. To make up for not having Daring Do to help out, Caballeron hired henchponies (Withers, Rogue, and Biff) instead, and while they didn’t give two clops about archaeology, they definitely agreed about the fortune they could reap selling artifacts to the highest bidder.
 
Like Daring Do and Ahuizotl, Dr. Caballeron and his cronies were thought to be only fictional characters. Imagine Rainbow Dash and her friends surprise when they discovered that they were all real. After his minions incampacitated Daring Do to the floor, Caballeron took the Rings of Scorchero, which he planned to sell to Ahuizotl, make a fortune, and retire in splendor. What Ahuizotl intended to do with the ring was of little consequence to the greedy tomb raider. Later on, Dr. Caballeron and his henchponies encountered a disguised Daring Do who offered a large bag of bits for the ring. Since Ahuizotl was not present, Caballeron was eager to sell. When Ahuizotl angrily stormed onto the scene, however, Caballeron made off with the bits and left the ring behind.
 
But this was not the last time anypony saw of him. Dr. Caballeron and his henchponies pursued Daring Do to a Daring Do Convention in Manehattan. In order to claim an artifact that Daring recently found, he kidnapped Rainbow Dash and another avid Daring Do fan named Quibble Pants to bait her into the open. However, thanks to Rainbow’s cunning and Quibble’s skepticism, they escaped the thieves. After his attempt to find a rare treasure ended in failure, Caballeron and his crooked cronies were chased by a ferocious Cipactli.
 
Caballeron’s next act of antiquities thievery took place in the desert village of Somnambula. He endeavored to ruin Daring Do’s reputation so that he could make off with the village’s collection of glowpaz and frame Daring Do for the act. He and his henchponies briefly captured Rainbow Dash as bait to lure Daring Do into a trap in the same pyramind where the Egyptian legend, Somnambula, rescued the pharoah from the Sphinx, but Daring Do and Pinkie Pie rescued her, and eventually thwarted Caballeron’s scheme, exposing his deception in the process and branded as a criminal there. But archaeological fiends like Caballeron are hard to get rid of, and Daring Do’s reputation will still be threatened by him now and again.
 
The Mane-iac - The Power Ponies had a rogue’s gallery of villains to battle, but their archenemy was the manic, maniacal, and mad Mane-iac Mayhem! Like all great supervillains, she wasn’t always the power-mad villainess she is now. She was once the power-mad owner of a hair-care product company until she accidentally fell into a vat of green liquid and was electrocuted by a downed power line. The accident gave her strange new powers—such as a prehensile, stretchable mane—and caused her to go completely criminally insane. From there she would become the Power Ponies’ greatest and most evil enemy.
 
The adventures of the Power Ponies are published in enchanted comic books, which allows the readers to literally get pulled into the story (involuntarily) and become the characters. This happened to Spike and the Mane Six; the six mares became the Power Ponies while he became the sidekick, Hum Drum. In the issue Spike and his friends got pulled into the Mane-iac broke into the Maretropolis Museum and stole the Electro-Orb, cackling maniacally at her evil success. The Power Ponies confronted her, but she watched in amusement as the Mane Six struggled to use their newfound superpowers before leaving the scene with the orb. The heroes track down the Mane-iac and her henchponies to her headquarters at the abandoned shampoo factory. However, the Mane-iac used her “Hairspray Ray of Doom” on the Power Ponies, freezing the ponies in place and rendering their powers useless. She then took the Power Ponies prisoner but left Spike/Hum Drum alone, considering it pointless to capture him. The Mane-iac used the Electro-Orb to power her doomsday device, which resembles a cross between a large pink blowdryer and a cannon, explaining in a typical villainous monologue that she will use the cannon to amplify the power of her mane by “one million times”, expelling an energy blast that will cause everyone in Maretropolis’s mane to grow wild. However, she soon realized how CRAZY it really was to not imprison Spike. After hearing his friends singing his praises, he got the resolve he needed to rescue his friends, powers or not. After he neutralized the Mane-iac’s weapon and freed the Power Ponies, the battle between good versus evil was fought. This ended with the Mane-iac’s machine destroyed and her mane growing out of control, wrapping around her like a straitjacket. So at the end of this issue, this maniac will spend the rest of her days in the loony bin.
 
Wind Rider - Formerly a decorated veteran of the Wonderbolts, Wind Rider was made famous for breaking the long-distance speed record for the Mustang Marathon. The living legend retired, and attended a royal dinner at Canterlot castle. It was there he caught the attention of Rarity, who noticed the scent of his cologne, Juniper Phoenix, and a star struck Rainbow Dash. When Spitfire came over and mentioned that Rainbow Dash could one day beat his aerial record, Wind Rider suddenly excused himself. Something Rarity also noticed… The next day, the Wonderbolts practiced for an upcoming aerial performance, and Rainbow Dash filled in for Spitfire when she was called away by a note sent from her sick mother. During practice, Wind Rider has difficulty keeping up with Rainbow’s speed. When Spitfire’s mother Stormy Flare appeared and revealed that she never sent a note to Spitfire, Wind Rider suggested someone sent a fake note to take Spitfire’s place in the performance, causing the Wonderbolts to suspect Rainbow Dash. After conducting an investigation, Rarity revealed that Wind Rider himself sent the note and framed Rainbow Dash to get her kicked out of the Wonderbolts and preserve his record. Wind Rider denied the accusation at first, but after Rarity presented several pieces of incriminating evidence against him, he angrily confessed. He even justified his actions by saying “sometimes you gotta play dirty to be the best”, but Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts strongly disagreed, reminding him that Wonderbolts look out for each other. For his actions against Rainbow Dash, Wind Rider was dishonorably discharged from the Wonderbolts by Spitfire after Rainbow Dash retrieved her, and Rainbow took his place in the aerial performance.
 
Gladmane - Once the owner of Las Pegasus’s popular luxury resort, Gladmane was a stylized Earth Pony with charisma and flare, looking like a famous pony rock-and-roll star and talking with an amicable tone. He would even call himself a “friendship connoisseur” and often offering discounts to resort customers, earning himself a positive reputation among employees and customers alike. But nopony in Las Pegasus knew that he was really a deceptive conpony who would pretend to be their friend just to make money. He would pit his employees against one another in order to keep them from leaving the resort and pursuing more lucrative and successful careers. Not only that, but Gladmane planned on using this scam to build resorts all over Las Pegasus and control the entire city’s business market.
 
This disgrace caused the Cutie Map to summon Applejack and Fluttershy to Las Pegasus. At first, the seemingly philanthropic owner fooled the two mares. However, they learn from the animals featured in one of the resort’s stage acts about Gladmane’s scam. Unfortunately, the employees held Gladmane in such high regard that they refused to believe the notion that he was manipulating them. Among Gladmane’s employees were the Flim Flam brothers, and just like the others, they were tricked into being at each other’s throats. In an unexpected situation, Fluttershy and a very reluctant Applejack got them back together, and the new allies attempted to make Gladmane expose his true nature to everyone he has deceived with the High-Roller Hustle. Unfortunately, he saw through the ruse and later gloating to Applejack and Fluttershy’s faces and revealing his “grand plan.” This, however, turned out to be part of a more elaborate ruse to get Gladmane to reveal himself via the loudspeaker in his office. With a ruined business and reputation, Gladmane was disgraced out of his managerial position, allowing Flim and Flam to take over as resort co-owners. Now he’s at home doing the high-roller hustle all by himself.
 
Verko - Far beyond the Forbidden Jungles that border the southernmost tip of Equestria lies the inhospitable Bone Dry Desert, and in the heart of that Celestia-forsaken land is a small but unsavory village of Klugetown. This place is covered from clifftop to clifftop with discombobulated, smoking buildings, and it is home to strange, shady, greedy creatures who look to buy, trade, and sell anything. In fact, “everything costs in Klugetown” is the desert town’s top law, even information costs. They would sell anything, from food and supplies needed for the journey through the desert, to selling ridiculous things like random junk and even plot points. But this town and its inhabitants are so rapacious that they would even want to buy and sell any creature that is foreign to them, either their body parts or the whole being as a slave or a pet. And the one fiend who most likely made this heinous, unregulated capitalist law would be the town’s mayor and crime boss, Verko! This naked mole rat of a don was as ugly as he was avaricious. While honest in the bargain, he nonetheless reinforced his “everything costs in Klugetown” policy and forces his citizens to pay absurd taxes which were perhaps the reason why all the Klugetowners are so rapacious.
 
At some point, a former aristocrat from Abyssinia named Capper Dapperpaws came to Klugetown, and ended up finding himself deep in debt with Verko. Later on, after the Mane Six fled to Klugetown to find the Hippogriffs, Capper “rescued” them from the grabby denizens, but secretly intended on selling them to Verko to settle his debt. He sent Needy, Verko’s tarsier-sloth errand boy to bring the boss. By the time Twilight Sparkle pinpointed the location of the Hippogriffs and she and her best friends were about to make their way out, Verko arrived to buy the ponies from Capper, hoping they would shoot rainbow lasers from their eyes. However, Commander Tempest Shadow arrived as well, to take Twilight. Verko, thinking Tempest was an addition, tried to take her hostage too by squishing her cheeks. However, when the sleazy salesrat asked what tricks the “little pony-wony” could do, he didn’t like it one bit; he got violently electrocuted by her unstable magic, allowing the Mane Six to escape out of Klugetown. It’s quite clear that ponies would NOT make the best commodities on the Klugetown market.
 
Daybreaker - While Nightmare Moon was Princess Luna’s maleficent form and her agenda was to bring about an eternal night, if her sister, Princess Celestia, fell from grace, she would probably turn into the perniciously prideful Daybreaker, and her evil goal would be for her beauty and glorious day to last forever without night. Daybreaker would be incredibly vain about both her appearance and abilities, believing herself to be better than Celestia in every way. She would also have no qualms about destroying anyone who opposes her, even her own family, and would be just as Tartarus-bent on eliminating Luna so that she could rule alone, very much like how Nightmare Moon would do the same to Celestia.
 
Fortunately, the only time Daybreaker appeared to us was only in a nightmare Starlight Glimmer had after she switched Celestia and Luna’s cutie marks and roles so they could resolve their relationship. Celestia, carrying out Luna’s role to look after ponies in their dreams, stumbled upon Starlight’s nightmare of being unable to solve the Royal Sisters’ friendship problem; upon which, Nightmare Moon appeared. Celestia prepared herself to battle Nightmare Moon, but was then stunned to see her own evil counterpart - Daybreaker. Both her and Nightmare Moon represented Starlight’s fear of her attempt to solve Royal Sister’s crisis making it even worse. After goading Celestia into giving into her darker temptations, she battled Nightmare Moon. Starlight tried to talk them out of it and Celestia attempted to intervene, but both failed to stop their quarrel. Celestia then brought Luna from her own nightmare of failing her older sister’s duties so that they could stop Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon, but Luna was unable to help since she has Celestia’s magic. After Celestia tearfully admitted that Luna’s duties are so difficult, Luna admitted the same about Celestia’s duties. Just then, Daybreaker subdued Nightmare Moon and set the throne room ablaze. Before she could finish her off, however, Celestia, after being encouraged by Luna, stood in the way of both of their attacks. Daybreaker taunted that Celestia can’t bring herself to destroy her since she is everything Celestia wants to be, but Celestia proved her wrong and dispelled both her and Nightmare Moon for good.
