So, Pony Life isn’t actually terrible: it’s not FIM, but it’s fine for what it is (and Rarity is a star).
 
It also recently introduced Pinkie Pie’s brother, Octavio Pie, who looks just like Marble Pie, and I’m taking that for a “Marble was a trans stallion all along” headcanon. I still can’t fathom why Marble was shown crying over their ex in a Christmas special, that’s so sad, but now he’s an outgoing and ambitious stallion, eager to find his place, which is a much happier ending for than what FIM gave the character.
