So, we’re not going to be using Luster Dawn in canon Junior Gala. But if I was, I would make her the unlikely spellborn half-siren daughter of Sunset Shimmer and Adagio. She looks the part so nicely!
 
Of course, this would be inconsistent with the rules of nature that Liz so carefully set in place (magic or no, you can’t breed a mammal with an egg-laying fish-thing…at least Twilight can’t, and she’s the best we’ve got). Also Luster’s show-canon personality is pretty much opposite of that of any self respecting Hippocampus pup. So before the lady (meaning me) doth protest too much, let’s just say that Luster is the long-lost Sundagio bio-pup of my heart, and leave it at that. She can hang out with Valentine, Pepper Seed, Pink Lady and Min–OK, not so much Minolta.
