Day 33 of October’s Gore Challenge: Beaten up / Bruising.Okay this is the last one for the 33 Days Gore Challenge. Must say it has been… interesting. Probably should have read the list through first before starting, I think I got a different one than I was going for. But no going back now, it is done. Next year I’ll probably just go with the ever popular Inktober. Never done that one.Anyway’s, for today’s theme I picked to draw MisterMech’s OC Powder Keg. He is the son of Dr. Clean Cut and Prof Deep Though, aka Mistress and Slave. He is their precious baby boy and they just adore their little colt, who takes after his father a lot. Not quite as big though, but a very smart pony with a taste for pain.
Powder Keg also possess a mysterious ability. He likes to get beaten up, not just fir the kick of it, but also because his body acts as a sort of impact sponge. The more you hit him and toss him around, the more energy he absorbs. He can go full super saiyan after enough beatings. Mostly he just keeps sucking up energy until it releases from him in a big boom as final move. Then he goes home to recover until next time he needs a kick.I admit I rushed this, as usual, so the angle is a bit off and I’m not so sure about how well the crater effect under him turned out. Supposed to be the ground cracking up both from the impact of him getting power slammed down into it, but also from the effects of his energy buildup. I’m sure I could do better if I had more time and energy, but this is what I got done to finish the gore challenge’s final day. Some of the anatomy is off too, now I look at it… Oh well.Been an interesting challenge month, I did learn a few things from some of the themes. Anyways, enjoy!Powder Keg © mistermech
