When Aria was a filly, before she discovered her talent in singing and creativity, she had an obsession with country western stuff. Most likely due to the fact that she went to the plains and other places similar as part of a family trip. During those trips, she also received a bright blue cowboy hat as a souvenir, and even though she only wears it on special occasions, she still keeps it because it was a part of her childhood.

I had so much fun drawing this, to be honest, and not to mention I didn’t have to worry about drawing Aria’s glasses or necklace since this takes place in her childhood (She started wearing those things when she was becoming a teen).

Anyway, about the song that inspired this piece. I first knew of it thanks to Kingsman: The Golden Circle (Though that movie was trash, IMO. No offense to anyone who enjoyed the movie.), and then I introduced it to my mom, and now we’re obsessed with it. I also think of the song as a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and of course, nostalgia. Aww

Of course, I could’ve used the song, or pretty much any cover version of that song, but since I don’t want to risk my channel of getting a copyright strike or something like that, I’ve decided to use a much more different song that is copyright-free but still has a “country” vibe to it (That’s why I gave this drawing an alternate title).

I hope you enjoy, and more art will be coming soon! Love
