Goldspur and Jonagold are Coloratura and Big Mac’s fraternal twin children. They both share their parents’ performance skills, and have made their own ways in the world successfully. They love to visit their Auntie Jack and Auntie Rari, mainly because they feed them so much of that good Apple family cooking.
 
Goldspur Apple is the younger twin by three minutes. He is a kind, caring, and gentlemanly stallion who aspires to be a real southern gentleman. He is a very popular country musician, but he refuses to use his famous mother’s name to promote his work. He is a bit embarrassed by the fame his mother draws to him, and prefers to lay low. He doesn’t flaunt his fame or wealth, even if he is wildly popular and known as Equestria’s Heartthrob, due to his penchant for writing love songs. Despite this, he is fairly inexperienced in romance. He is currently head over heels for his partner, Princet Romeo Adore. He’s bisexual, and his special talent is singing.
 
Jonagold Apple is the older twin, and a bit harsher than her brother. She’s a risk-taker who would rather listen to hard rock rather than country music, though she can play a mean banjo. While she inherited her parents’ singing skills, her voice is much more similar to her father’s. She has a deep, smooth voice that is perfect for radio, and she hosts Equestria’s most popular radio show. She works as an investigative, pop culture, and music reporter, and somehow always manages to have the most interesting guests to interview on her show, The Hoofbeat. She is a lesbian, and her special talent is radio hosting.
