Manta has somehow gotten herself thrown out of her hive and end up in the Broken Hive lead under Queen Wex, who rebuilds it by taking in all the lost changelings with nowhere else to go.

Yes, I was being very unoriginal when I named my own OC like that. Oh well. The hanging out together is kinda forced on them, to teach the troublemaking Manta how to behave. She’s not amused by this odd obsession with baths them non-Miasma people seem to have just because of the smell of rot that follows that kind of changelings.

Manta also had an encounter or more with Izzy, the outcome of that was part of her current exile in Rowena’s and Mantis’ home to learn improved behaviour. Apparently Wex’ hive doesn’t approve of the creation of husks to use as slaves. So much to learn for poor Manta.
