In the far north west of Equestria, theirs an odd ranch ran by ghouls in an irradiate zone. The raise angler ponies, strange beasts that make good food and leather, but are exceedingly viscous to be around. Most of the rancers would stay as far away from them as possible until it was time for harvest, causing a seemingly unfix-able problem with caring for them in even the most simplest manner.
 
A few years later accusations of the angler ponies ecaping from their enclosure, and attacking ponies lead to the discovery of Mirelurks, a collection of different mutant crustations living symbiotically together, which was a huge problem for any coastal settlements, until the ghouls came across the Sparkle-Lurkers. a small family of intelegent pony shaped mirelurks were activly hurding the other mirelurks around, not having any troble living next the violent monsters.
 
Establishing comunications with the Sparkle Lurkers, the ghouls were not just able to convince the Lurkers to stear their heard away from a nearby settlement, but also higher a few to help them with their ranch. As it turned out, though still aggressive, the angler ponies were a far less danger to the Sparkle-Lurkers, and through the Lurkers help, they were able to gratly increes the angler ponies living staderes, and thust increeded the amout of them that survived till harvest. The addition of the mirelurk beast also help to increes the revenue for the rance, as the large monster crabs could be made into food, armor and weapons, though the Lurkers kept a larg cut of the earning from those.
