A few weeks after the Memory Stone incident, Sunset Shimmer has become close friends with Wallflower Blush and has been spending a lot of time getting to know her. Through this time together, Sunset sees just how shy Wallflower can be and it becomes apparent the green-haired girl has some form of social anxiety. Wanting to help her, Sunset decides to employ a new trick she learned with her geode in order to completely change Wallflower’s life for the better. Meeting up in the yearbook room at school one day, Sunset tells Wallflower that she has been practicing something with her geode and that she wants o try it out on her to make sure it works. Although wary of what her friend is going to do, Wallflower agrees to be a test subject, much to the fiery haired girl’s delight. After telling Wallflower to just stand still and relax, Sunset closes her eyes, grabs hold of her geode, and begins channeling her magic. When Sunset opens her eyes again, Wallflower is surprised to see that they have changed into red and orange spirals that instantly begin to captivate and entrance her. Seeing this, Sunset begins to guide her friend into a deep state of hypnosis, causing the green-skinned girl’s eyes to mirror her own. Once Wallflower is fully hypnotized, Sunset wipes away the plant-lover’s shyness and anxiety and tells her that from now on, she will be confident, outgoing, and sociable. She also mentions that Wallflower will have enough courage to ask out eco-kid Sandalwood, whom Wallflower has had a crush on since 10th grade. Once her friend accepts her new programming, Sunset releases her geode and end the surprise hypnosis session, causing both girls’ eyes to return to normal. Now filled with tons of confidence and an urge to socialize with her peers, Wallflower thanks Sunset profusely and immediatly heads off to talk to Sandalwood. Seeing how much she helped out her friend, Sunset begins contemplating using her new hypnotic powers more often….
