If you share the same thoughts cool if you don’t please don’t leave hateful comments.I’m tired of all these certain “Bronies” and “Fans” that totally bash and hate the other generations because of silly reasons like, “The animation sucked.” or “The story line was too girly.” or “Ewww, rainbows!!” “I won’t watch it because it’s old!” I have been a fan since Generation One, that’s right I’ve been a fan longer than most of the people in the fandom. And I can tell you right now, G4 has more in common with past Gens than one may think.Now, to explain what I mean:The mane 6 are actually the original cast from Generation One all they have had is a make over for their looks and names since Hasbro only kept rights to Spike and Applejack. You can find fanart of them with their other generation counter parts on Deviant Art, look it up.The “Story Line” you love, is from My Little Pony Tales, that taught lessons about life, love, and friendship. Each episode had a lesson like, “Never play sick.” or “Take care of yourself first because if you don’t you can’t take care of others.“Generation 3 was what brought it back into popularity due to everyone loving the different species being re-released. Like the Mermaid Ponies, and flutter ponies. They also loved being able to do customs out of the dolls and figures.And, as weird as this WILL sound.Generation 3.5 though disturbing are one of the reasons they are animated the way they are now. That’s right those chibi’s everyone seems to hate are one of the reasons it was led into the animation style. Not the only reason, just one thing inspired by it.All G4 did was filter through the generations and put them together in a way that makes in more enjoyable for all ages. This can be said for any cartoon, but it shows strongest in MLP. IT’s a mix of all the past generations. All they really need to bring back is the sea ponies and flutter ponies and it’ll be a cooler version of G1. Even Lauren herself said that she looked to previous generations to find ideas. Even newer parents hate G1 because it’s to “Dark and Violent” for their children. It is very dark for young children even I had nightmares due to certain episodes because of what they went through.So, instead of hating the other generations. Love them. Without them, we wouldn’t have G4. In fact find the nearest G1 image and kiss it. Without G1, G2, G3 and G3.5 there would be no G4.You can love and support something without actually liking it. You can love that the previous Gens brought G4 to you. It’s the fact without them you wouldn’t have G4 is what you can love about it. That alone is loving it as a whole.
