General bio:  
Sunshine is a very determined and passionate little guy. He’s thoughtful, kind and always ready to help (as long as the task isn’t TOO dangerous). He’s very much a goody goody and is eager to get everypony’s approval. He will go through great lengths to make sure people like him.  
Sunny is incredibly studious and aspires to be just as good at magic as his parents. He’s great at it but by no means a prodigy, which is a little frustrating to him. Regardless, he does his best! He does have a habit of drowning himself in work, not unlike Twilight.  
Sunshine grew up around greatness and and a lot of powerful mares in his life, which was inspiring to him but it also made him feel pressured to be just as great if not greater. He wants to be a Princess more than anything.
 
Relationships:
 
Sunshine is very close to both his parents, Twilight and Sunset. Sunny looks up to Twilight a whole lot especially she was a normal pony who earned her princess title. He spends a lot of time mimicking her and following her around. Sunset is absolutely the fun mom and she gets Sunny to go outside and play and get away from work for a while. He’s always resistant to leave his work but he loves spending time with Sunset.
 
Of all his friends, Sunshine is probably the closest with Overcast. She’s extremely positive and encouraging and he loves her energy. She helps him to try new things and is always supportive of his endeavors. She’s often the test subject for his magic practice but she doesn’t mind.
 
Sunshine holds Geode Glitz in a high regard. He’s in awe of her calm and cool demeanor. He sees it as perfect princess behavior and aspires to be like her. He tries very hard to look cool around Geode but it’s not quite his style. Geode enables him and thinks it’s cute that he’s tries so hard. She’s very flattered that he looks up to her so much.
 
Sunshine and Anjou are great pals. Always lifting each other up and probably the number one supporters of each other’s dreams. Sunshine was the one who helped Anjou when she got her cutie mark for cooking and growing pears. They motivate each other to do what they really want to do.
 
Parade Float likes to mess around with Sunshine. Sunny’s a little socially awkward and a lot of jokes tend to go over his head. Part of Parade gets annoyed by it but he also finds it rather charming and adorable.
 
Sunshine has a hard time relating to and understanding Flower Crown. They are polar opposites. He doesn’t know how to act around her since she’s so spacey all the time. To him, she is an enigma but he’s still very fascinated by her and they still adore each other.
 
Talent/Cutiemark/Abilities:
 
On the surface, Sunshine’s cutie mark symbolizes his ability to light up a room and make those around him happy. On a deeper note, Sunshine is actually very good at leading the way and making good decisions when he needs to. He also makes a pretty good flashlight.
