Once in a while canon throws you a bone that perfectly fits a pesky little bone-shaped hole in your narrative! And then Liz shows up to brighten our day and darken our headcanon! Here’s just a taste of what she’s cooked up for fancy showpony Jack Pot…

You make a little money as an entertainer, sure. But no matter who talented you may be it all comes down to the whims of the crowds and the seasons, and dashing Jack Pot likes to moonlight by seducing the swooning marefolk and robbing them blind. One of his marks was just as bad as himself if not worse; she would have used sweet little resulting Trixie to turn the financial tables on Jack Pot, but she never could pin him down. The only positive influence in baby Trixie’s life was her mother’s beleaguered girlfriend Goldenrod (whom you guys may have seen in canon-comic periphery), but even that good thing came to a sad end…more on that relationship at another time.

Ah yes…and despite all his extracurricular hijinks, Jack Pot IS married. Big Bucks can usually turn a blind eye if hubby fools around with the mares, especially if he brings home a profit. But the day Jack Pot substitutes another stallion will be the day Bucks magically turns his bones into a fine powder. To each one’s own limit, I suppose…
