”Don’t worry about me, Bolty!” Confetti Surprise kissed her fretting coltfriend’s cheek. “This is something I’ve always wanted to do. I’ll be just fine!”
Her brother and sister approached her with packed saddlebags, helping her get them fitted on.
“We’re gonna miss you, sis! Have fun throwing parties like Mom and Dad!”
”Don’t forget to write and tell us about it!”
Confetti felt a rush of sisterly love, pulling both of her little siblings in for a hug. “Oh, I’m gonna miss you guys too! Don’t worry, you’ll be getting a lot of letters from me. Oh, and one more thing…”
“Yes?”
She pulled them in closer. “Take care of Bolty, okay? I think he’s gonna miss me.” She smirked and winked at Lightning as her siblings burst into a fit of giggles.
DING DONG!
Whipping her head around, Confetti caught sight of the clock tower. “Shoot! I gotta be on the train in ten minutes!” She hugged her siblings and coltfriend one last time before pulling away. “I love you!”
With her loved ones waving goodbye from behind, Confetti slipped on her favorite poncho and trotted off to a new and exciting journey.
