Cutie mark: one Orange segment, a martini glass and an emerald
Romantic / sexual orientation: panromantic, pansexual
Accessories: She always wears some kind of colorful west.
Family: Her older sisters Sanguina (head-strong, optimistic, loud) and Manica (moody, aggressive, even louder)
Place of residence: The “Bitten Apple” Night Club in Canterlot
Occupation: Gardener, bartender and waitress
Talents: Cooking, mixing drinks; she inherited a good taste in general and a hoof for culturing oranges from her family line
Hobbies: On occasion, she writes her own songs, though her sisters won’t let her perform.
Personality in general: Her customers come first, of course, but she’s also very fond of her family, especially of her godmother Apple Bloom, not so much of her dominant older sisters.
Though she’s not exactly quiet and timid, Orange Sunstar prefers to get through problems with patience and good will to everypony. Whenever there’s distress, she tries to talk it out. And if you’re friendly to her, she’s extraordinarily sweet in return.
Fatal flaw: She hasn’t the best nerves. If someone’s very stubborn, she won’t get through their head, no matter how hard she pleads. She also is very soft-hearted and a born magnet for free-loaders.
In these hours, the bottles in her cupboard start to look very inviting…
Likes: good music, the smell of her little closed garden, old stories
Dislikes: pears, travelling, her sisters at family reunions, her own hangovers
Howdy there, stranger! Welcome to the “Bitten Apple”. You look very distressed. Why don’t ya take a seat and make y’all comfortable? Here, take a “Golden Dream” and let yer sorrow behind.
The name’s Orange Sunstar, Apple Branch from Manehattan. Not that it matters anymore since the darkness. Our parents had us sent to our relatives on Sweet Apple Acres before, and when the darkness began, they’d insisted us to stay there. They’d come after us later, they said… sure they did…
It’s not that Ah’m complaining. Ah’ve learned all I know from my Aunt Apple Bloom. She knew so much about chemistry, ya know, gave me my first chemistry kit when Ah was high as this bar.
Thanks, that’s really nice of yers. I sure hope she’s okay, too. But Ponyville never had the defense of Canterlot, and Sweet Apple Acres is so big…
Y’all see the picture on the wall, don’t ya? The one with the pink and the orange pony? Aunt Apple Bloom told me, they were some Elements of Harmony - Laughter and Honesty. And they were part of ma family.
‘Bet ya know the old stories. Like, when one day the coming of the sixth princess was announced, the Elements of Harmony all went to the castle… and never returned.
Dead, some say. Nopony’s sure, but Ah don’t believe it. One of them escaped and returned to Sweet Apple Acres for a short time. Ah heard her talking with Apple Bloom and Big Mac. Poor thing sounded devastated… totally torn up. Seemed to blame herself. They wanted to give her some time to recover, but she was gone the day afterwards, and nopony saw her again.
Ah know we shouldn’t live in these past-time stories, don’t let ‘em get to us that much. But this one’s baffling me. Why didn’t she do som’thing? And where did she go? These darn secrets drive me crazy… nopony’s honest here.
Ah’m awfully sorry, where are my manners… Do ya want an “Iced tea”? Another “Golden Dream”? The “Apple-Kneel”? Look around an’ talk. I’ll promise ya won’t stay lonely this night…
