Meaning: Promise

Bakari is a male Eastern/Mountain Bongo. Eastern Bongos are a critically endangered species with less than 200 individuals left in the wild. Bakari is fiercely loyal to his family, and wants to find others of his kind. He meets Nia the Quagga, and together they have crazy adventures throughout Equestria looking for their own species.
