“Uh…” Emerald says.
 
“Perhaps homeschooled?” The merchant says, holding the bag out. Emerald nods and grabs the bag, but she doesn’t let go.
 
“We have a newsletter that tells you about events and sales concerning alchemy. Would you like to sign up?”
 
“Err…” Emerald says. She’s not letting go of the bag.
