Ok, so here’s something entirely new. This piece is firstly inspired by what I understand is Lauren Faust’s design of Scholar Twilight, which was likely a concept for the show’s development should she have kept working on it; displayed below:
 

 
Secondly, it’s my first attempt at anthro art. The effort for it was prompted by my friend, Lionel23, whose feedback and encouragement to take a step in this direction proved invaluable to expanding my artistic repertoire. Lionel’s cooperation in this attempt helped me develop a custom aesthetic style for anthro characters while, on my own, I handled the technical matters of devising a step-by-step method of sketching out anatomy and such (this is owing to countless fantastic tutorials available on deviantART). I’m bound to be incapable of complex poses and greater detail since the learning process itself took less than a week and given that this is in fact a FIRST attempt, I’ve no doubt there’s plenty of room for improvement and there may be significant errors that I just cannot see yet, so I will greatly appreciate all constructive feedback.
