Am I the only one that’s always thought spike had a crush before rarity?

And if he did then his crush must’ve been moondancer. I mean I can tell spike and moondancer were probably really good friends in fact even better than twilight and moondancer and it got to the point where spike never wanted to leave moondancer again because of how great of a friend she is to him.
