Description

Heres a diagram I asked one of the regulars in my library to illustrate for you. As you can see, there are many uses for having a standard tsuka, or grip if you prefer. Once something has been developed for general use and its been adapted for others with more convenient specialties there is no need to change its form so drastically. Of course there are weapons that eliminate unnecessary elements however in this case, I can assure you that everything is there for a reason.
