Twilight visits some of the filming locations of Jurassic Park!
 
This is the location of the “Costa Rican restaurant” scene in the beginning of the movie where Nedry met Dodgson. This is the background you see behind them. Since the movie was filmed a few trees have either been torn down by storms, or chopped down.
 
A small fence and a bike path have been built there. This is slightly past and to the right of where Nedry was sitting at the table.
 
The “restaurant” was actually a rental surf shack redecorated for the movie. It has been since torn down, and the area is now a gravel parking lot, with a large metal building to the side. But the background remains mostly grass.
 
This is in a small town by the name of Kapa’a, on the east coast of Kauai. It is literally right off the side of a town road with a bunch of businesses on it. When Dodgson’s taxi pulls up here, it’s literally on the side of the actual street. Some food trucks are permanently parked in a lot next door.
 
On one route to this location, you’ll pass over the mouth of the river that was used to film some of the boat scenes in Jurassic Park 3.
 
And yes, that can of Barbarsol is more than just a can of shaving cream
