Fancy science apples

Silly horse, apples are not the hardiest of crops.
Not going to explain much, I just hardly ever draw Applejack. And well, I also wanted to try drawing a background directly from a reference.
Of course I chose to do such a complex scene the day I get back to work on my projects. Feels good to sketch after sketching for almost 20 days straight…I can’t wait to do some painting.
