Soon she turned to the caramel and candied apples, looking in slight pity as their sticky shells had begun to melt a bit in the warm sunlight.
“Well I can’t right sell a sad bunch of treats like you all.” she said to the dipped fruits as she plucked them up, one in each hoof. She felt the sticky caramel drip onto her full belly and gave a warm sigh.
“Customers don’t like their treats so messy.”
She smirked and wrapped her long tongue around the apple, lapping up a mouthful of sweet and creamy caramel, before biting the treat down to the core.
“But of course, with my work, I don’t mind it so much.”
