“Sort of,” Storm Strike chuckled and ruffled her awestruck son’s mane. “I’m just the team mailmare, y’know. I really don’t see them that much. But if you guys are good, I’ll take you on a tour of Granddad’s office!”
”No way! The office of a real Wonderbolt!” Skydancer could hardly hold still on his mother’s back. “Aren’t you excited, sis?”
”Yeah!” Starflower nodded. “Maybe Granddad will actually be there.”
”He probably will be,” Storm affirmed. “Now, this is only if you two behave. You gotta be good for the Wonderbolts. Don’t make me look bad…”
Storm swooped down towards the Wonderbolts’ headquarters with her kids in tow. Over the entrance hung a huge sign reading “Take Your Kids To Work Day”. The twins had been waiting for this day for months, but Storm had a feeling she’d be the only one with kids there. After all, most of her coworkers were either much older or didn’t have children.
“Okay kids, here we are-noSkydancercomebackhere!”
Almost immediately, Skydancer zipped off excitedly, flittering around and touching almost every object in sight. His mother sped over and grabbed him just before a vase fell over on him.
”You’re supposed to stay with me at all times! No tour if you don’t!” She hissed through her teeth. “Now where’s Starflower?” She zoomed around the room frantically, looking for her filly and praying to Celestia that the Wonderbolts couldn’t see her.
