Suddenly, Rainbow heard a car honking. –A car? Here? – she wondered. She froze and looked around. It was dead silent around her, but then she was alarmed by the cracking of a branch. Apparently, somebody was following her!
 
–Stop hiding! Show yourself, coward!
 
A dangerous looking man came out from behind the bushes. It was Slingshot, and he was looking at the crown in Rainbow’s hand with jealousy. He slowly started approaching her. The girl, without taking her eyes off him, started retreating step by step.
 
The villain threw his hands in the air. His lips moved, as if he was saying something, but the only sound Rainbow heard was a car horn –That’s very strange! – she thought.
 
–Honk-hoonk! Honk-hooonk!  
–Uh, what?!
 
Slingshot once again honked menacingly and charged Rainbow, who skedaddled immediately. But soon she found herself before the edge of a steep chasm…
 
–A chasm! Now I’m done for!
 
Luckily, the girl managed to catch a vine hanging from a branchy tree and, holding it tightly, crossed the deep rocky pit. Slingshot was left on the other side…
