“Applejack went out to inspect the eastern orchard one morning and found a bat-winged pony with the most extravagantly colored mane sleeping in her trees. One long chase involving a pitchfork later, the mare introduced herself as ‘The Amazing Rainbow Dash’, and said that she was looking for her old friend Fluttershy.
 
“Since that day Rainbow has taken the mantle of Ponyville’s official guardian, and gradually won the hearts of the earth pony village with her dedication to their happiness.
