Like all Queen of Changelings, Queen Chrysalis randomly spawned a Queen Changeling one day without knowing it. The eggs all look the same, so when Larvae came out, Chrysalis was surprised to say the least.
 
Princess Larvae was unlike any changeling anypony had seen before. Unlike her subjects and her mother, she was kind and helpful to the changelings, very sweet, but also naive and loyal to her mother. She followed her mother’s orders to kidnap the Princesses son, Prince Dawn, but soon regretted this because she and Dawn became friends. She witness Dawn being hurt by the other changelings in the coarse of feeding off of him, and soon ran to Canterlot to lead the princesses back to their son. Chrysalis and the rest of her changelings fled, while Larvae stayed waiting for punishment.
 
Dawn saved her, and Larvae was allowed to stay at Canterlot with the few changelings that had defected from her mother. Larvae has a big crush on Dawn.
