Rarity crossed her arms and looked at her employee.
 
 
“Trust me Miss Pommel. It may not be apparent at first, but here at Rarity for you! we’re not just selling to the mares that come in here to shop. We’re also selling to the stallions who accompany them when they go shopping with their mares. When they see us dressed like this they’ll start imagining what their mare might look like in the lingerie we sell and often will be less likely to protest the final price at the end.”
 
The white unicorn looked over at herself in the full length mirror. “And many a stallion will not mind the extra time their mare takes making that extra purchase if they are enjoying the scenery.”
 
Rarity glanced over at the mirror again. “And there quite few mares who won’t mind the scenery either.”
 
Coco looked herself in the mirror as well. “Really?”
 
The Element of Generosity smiled. “Oh yes! I have neighbor from Ponyville who’ll be in town next week. She’ll be dropping and probably making a few purchases at that time. Miss Petina. You remember her don’t you Miss Pommel?”
 
Coco nodded her head. “Um, she the mare who likes boots doesn’t she?”
 
Rarity tossed her violet-blue mane and grinned at her assistant. “She likes boots. She likes lots, and lots of things.”
