These were shared by Doc Anubis, a MLP content creator who received these from an anonymous TYT animator. Many thanks to him for sharing us the full stills he used in his recent video, which is how we now have this information.
Hasbro apparently stopped production for TYT sometime in mid-February, which explains the scheduling change before the first special, and why so many animators were let go around April.
According to the anonymous animator, TYT was planned to have 100 episodes for season two, but it was cut down to 25 episodes. In an email, a Hasbro PR representative stated episode 23 was the final episode, so it’s possible the last two will be unreleased.”
