Nice look for them.
It rock if they fought in the Time War. And World Wars 1 and 2. And the Cold War. Using lieuyeydao swords (the Chinese descendants of Mongol sabres), kukri knives (the sort famously use by Gurkhas from Nepal), knobkerrie clubs (the sort used by tribes from Africa), boomerangs (similar to Australian ones), tekko-gagis (the metal claws use by ninjas from Japan), recurve bows for archery (famously use by Asians and North Africans), bolas (the sort use by South Americans), sonic-blasters from the Ice Warriors, and shields able to absorb and reflect energy. And if they wore scrim scarves.
