She’s quite different from Flurry in Friendship is Harmony (www.deviantart.com/princesssta…). In this universe, Flurry Heart didn’t want to be a princess. She found an interest in songwriting early in her life, and wanted to peruse that. She started a duo originally with her friend Warbler. Her not wanting to be a princess caused a strain on her and the rest of her family for years, to the part where she refused to talk to them. But finally, her ice heart melted, and Flurry wanted to make things better with her family, and Shining Armor and Cadence were ready to accept if she didn’t want to be a princess. And Flurry and her parents made a compromise. Flurry Heart is technically considered a “princess,” her official name becomes the Princess of Repairing Broken Relationships, (yes, the title is a mouthful), inspired by her being the one to reach out to her parents. But she is nothing like the other royals of Equestria. While she performs her royal duties, her attire isn’t exactly the princess formal, and she still goes off to perform with Warbler when he can. Here is Flurry Heart after she accepts becoming royalty.
