A watched egg never hatches, the saying goes.

Her more draconian peers all think she’s crazy, wanting to waste time and gems on a baby; but the chance of raising a dragon capable of civilized conversation is well worth it to Spark (Twi Drake).

…If only the blasted thing would hatch. The first decade flew by, but it’s been over a century now, and she’s starting to wonder if it wasn’t abandoned for a reason…

I’ve a couple more Twi Drake/little Spike pics to ink and scan. The Sis and Brother combo seems to be a default of mine, not that I mind at all~
