And the moral of the story is, J doesn’t need Siph’s help to get in trouble. He does it just fine on his own. And now you know what the joke I wanted to make about keeping the fact that they’re not really ponies a secret, because it’s still totally obvious that Siph is a Yoshi. And J would probably slip up and forget to use pony vernacular every so often, only to correct himself unnecessarily. But when will they learn? If no one tells them, it’s anyone’s guess! And if someone tells them, that will totally ruin the bet and everyone’s fun.
Ugh it’s finally over. Both my dumb project, and this page in particular that has the most panels I’ve ever done. 35 panels! :faint: At least with that third-to-last panel, I’ve rendered it the whole thing completely noncanon. Now I can go back to Mario self-inserts like a normal person. No more author avatar crossovers!
You know, by the time this gets posted, it’ll almost be Josh’s birthday, but I’m hesitant to call this a birthday gift to him since this was mostly self-serving  But I hope he enjoys it anyway along with everyone else, and that I characterized Firebrand, Ari, and Luna well.
Apologies for the multitag across these seven pages.
