story(p1):

Princess Twilight Sparkle and the then reformed King Sombra, had a happy marriage for awhile, they even had a foal that they named Obsidian. but only a few years after her birth the late king of the crystal empire had reformed to his former ways, divorcing Twilight and kidnapping Obsidian. Twilight was heartbroken, not only had she lost her husband, but she’d lost her daughter too. although, with the help of her friends and Princess Cadence, she was able to get obsidian back and banish Sombra to the vast frost that surrounded the crystal empire. but unbeknownst to them, only a few years later, Sombra had another foal with a mare, raising her alone and naming her, Sardonyx
