Note: Twilight is far from a damsel, while Spike is more of it, due to target audience of MLP differs from LGZ, but personality-wise, Spike is close to Link (chick magnet harem boy) and Twilight is close to Zelda (magical smart princess).
Ganondorf and Sombra are often compared to each other, so it makes sense here as well, although Ganondorf is a bit more competent in his villainy than Sombra.
