Story - Aunt Holiday and the Shop With Clocks
Summary: Aunt Holiday goes to a clock shop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she needs a new antique clock since the old one has stopped working at her home.
Aunt Holiday was walking through the snow in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and she felt depressed over her original antique clock no longer working in her home. “What can I do now?” She asked, wondering she should do so that she can tell how time works at her house properly again.
However, looking at a building called Kappel’s Clock Shop, Aunt Holiday knows that it is that time for a new antique clock right away. “This looks just like the perfect place where I can get a new clock for my house in this city.” She said, going inside the clock shop.
Inside the shop was a man named Giacomo Armani, a man who has been working at the shop for 17 years. He is currently in his mid-40s. “Need something, ma’am?” He asked Aunt Holiday, who was in the shop to find a new antique clock for her house located in Milwaukee, since her old one ceased working.
“Oh, yes, I have come so I can have a new antique clock for my house because apparently my other one is not working anymore.” Aunt Holiday told Giacomo as she was really in the need for another clock.
“Hmm, I understand the problem you are having right now, dear.” Giacomo said, as he offered Aunt Holiday take a look around the shop, knowing that there’s all kinds of clocks that she can choose from.
Seeing other clocks like cuckoo clocks, wall clocks, alarm clocks, analog clocks, etc., Aunt Holiday couldn’t help herself except focus on clocks.
Aunt Holiday started realizing that she must choose whichever clock she likes best and must stick with it, as she cannot change her mind afterwards.
“Hmm…” Aunt Holiday had her hoof placed below her chin.
“Have you finally decided which one you want, miss? Or are you still unsure yet?” Giacomo asked Aunt Holiday, wondering whether or not she is ready with an answer, or that she needs some more time.
Aunt Holiday didn’t answer, which basically tells the shop owner that she was not ready yet. “Just give me a little bit more time…” She said, still looking at clocks in front of her.
About two minutes later, Aunt Holiday was finished looking at the clocks and she told the shop owner, “I’m ready with buying a new antique clock!”
“Alright, I will get you the clock you want, miss!” Giacomo told Aunt Holiday, grabbing the latter the antique clock she needs, and she paid him twenty dollars, and he passed her the antique clock.
“Thanks, Mr.” Holiday said, as she walked out the store with her new antique clock while waving at Giacomo.
Outside, Aunt Holiday placed her new antique clock in her trunk of her car, and she was happy that she got a new antique clock and she drove off, heading straight back to her home.
