Original Description:

Ever since the defeat of the Elements of Harmony against Tirek, all creatures fled their homes.
Running as far away as they could from the lor’d kingdom before their magic was consumed.

Unfortunately, the Kirin species were beginning to go extinct after fleeing their home, in order to protect their tribes.
Due to the lack of adaptive genes in their bodies, they were easily found, and it made it very difficult to hide away from hunters that decided to work for Tirek in exchange for keeping their magic, strength or ability to fly.
Twilight was making her way through the Everfree Forest, looking for anypony that was hiding out from the new overlord of Equestria.
Hearing the snap of a twig, and a few clanking of stones, she hid in some bushes, thinking it was a guard hunting for Tirek. But looking through some bushes, she saw… a Kirin!
Possibly one of the last of their kind.

Her long and distant gaze watched ahead of her, as her ears twitched in all directions, listening out for anyone.
Twilight tried to get their attention, but the kirin’s gaze snapped to look at twilight. Setting herself ablaze and running deeper into the forest, out of sight.

Who knows if she will see that Kirin again, but it was amazing to see a Kirin in person.
