Vinyl Scratch took a swig from her bottle of beer. Her DJing gig was over for the evening but she was now sitting back chilling in the club. It was after 1am. Technically she should be on her way, but she enjoying herself.  
 
Although she was no longer spinning tunes the club stereo system was thumping out music. Vinyl didn’t actually hear phone ring, but she felt it vibrate in her back pants pocket.  
 
She pulled the phone out and stared at the number. A smile spread across her face as she recognized the number. Putting the phone to her ear she answered the call.  
 
“Yo babe! Wutz up?”  
 
“Hello love.” The unicorn heard her partner’s voice through the phone speakers. “Will you be coming home soon?”  
 
“I’ll be rolling out in awhile. Just kicking back and having a brew. How’s yur night been?”  
 
After a second Vinyl heard Octavia reply with a slightly plaintive but hungry voice. “Vinyl I’m bored. Please come home soon dear.”  
 
Vinyl shivered slightly. She knew that voice. “I’m outta of here babe!” She downed her beer and headed for the door.
