“Some would say Queen Novo is too overprotective, especially of her daughter Princess Skystar. She simply wants to keep Skystar safe, especially after all the trauma Novo went through.  
But there was once a time, before the Storm King invaded, before her husband died, where Novo was more relaxed with letting Sky see the world. One of their favorite pastimes was going to the beach together. They would gather shells, build sandcastles, and observe all the marine life. It was the most fun they would have together. Now that Sky is older, she gets to experience the beach all on her own, but she makes sure to bring her mother along, so that way she can have fun too.  
It wouldn’t be Mother’s Day if I didn’t draw something related to Novo. After all, we don’t get that many motherly images of her, which is a shame. I would love to see more if them.”
