I don’t know why I wanted to draw this, honestly… I just thought about how Scootaloo has a lot on her shoulders. A very unique character in my opinion. She’s made fun of for not only being unable to fly, but also for having no cutie mark. And she may also be an orphan (not confirmed but still.) She’s got a pretty tough life if you think about it. But at least she has one reason to keep smiling: Hope. Her hope to one day be like her greatest idol, Rainbow Dash. As long as she’s got that, there will be a very small amount of bad days for little Scoots.  
Originally it had a quote by Diamond Tiara (not from the actual show) that said “A pegasus who can’t fly AND doesn’t have a cutie mark? HA! Trust me, the world would be much better without you.” but I decided that the picture looked better as is.  
This really took a while… like… six hours. :exhausted:

Yeah it took forever to draw too. I had to keep looking up references on how to draw things in MLP backgrounds x~x
