Original Description:
Hocus Pocus Summer Solstice has a stunted horn and struggles to perform even the most basic of spells, which was a huge cause for bullying as a colt. Not only was his horn small for a foal of his age (and later as an adult), but Hocus Pocus had little to no magic flares and surges that nearly all unicorn kids experienced. It wasn’t uncommon to see classmates pointing and laughing at him, or making jokes at his expense. Daffodil was a regular bully, usually dragging bystanders into join in on the teasing. Hocus Pocus would run home to his mothers, or to Auntie Twilight and Auntie Starlight, and let the tears flow. Most believed it would be best to help him understand that not all unicorns could successfully harness magic, but Mama Trixie never let that idea have the time of day, instead further encouraging him and telling him that one day, he’d be more powerful than anyone who made fun of him.
