FlutterPatch - Pattern test / review

Heya, I did a thing? A while ago I came across a tutorial pattern by adamlhumphreys and tried it out, with not-so-stretchy cotton fabric. So the results may vary if you use minky fabric, which I imagine behaves similar to fleece fabric. Also minky shouldn’t fray unlike woven cotton. Had to take extreme measures and seal the edges with glue 😅
The head is… yes, it’s a head.
But the body gives a good impression on how a more complex pattern could work. Although the hip part was quite tricky for me, and I watched his tutorial video about the inner part of the hind legs several times to fully understand where it is attached. But the small cut (which made my fabric fray like mad) definitely pays and gives so much shape to the hind legs.
tl;dr great tutorial pattern, imho the best free one, and a good start for new plush makers
