For me, I can understand this. Though this art I wouldn’t classify as that bad itself (more of a “older tumblr” look over the newer chibi-furry-twitter continuum) it is still not to my taste and I can understand being sick of motifs present within said styles.

That’s pretty much it. It’s not a problem with freckles or dappled coats itself but when they show up it’s always in some tumblr-artstyle level shit.
