The Mane Six vs the Mean Six!!! The battle between the true and the false begins. Chrysalis’ attempt to take over Equestria without her changeling subjects has brought us the meanest clones Equestria has ever known, and this time they and the original pony pals are battling each other for the right to be Equestria’s Mane Six! First up is our bearer of the Element of Laughter, Pinkie Pie, and her sour-puss mimic, Mean Pinkie Pie!

Pinkie Pie is bubbly, spirited, perky, playful, and a total chatterbox, and it’s not unusual to find her bouncing through the streets of Ponyville. She is a party extraordinaire who can cram a lifetime of fun into her much-loved portable party cannon in the blink of an eye. As the silliest pony around, Pinkie Pie always brings laughter and levity to even the most serious situations. She is also always bursting with energy and an eagerness to make sure everypony is having a good time.

The real Pinkie Pie might be Ponyville’s biggest party planner, but Mean Pinkie Pie was the biggest party pooper ever. This pessimistic grump can spoil any pony’s fun with her complaining. But the good news is that the sad sack was put out of her misery by the Tree of Harmony, along with the rest of the Mean Six.

Here’s Mean Pinkie Pie, and while she and the original Pinkie may both be pink, you can tell they’re more like theatre masks. Both ponies have curly manes, but Mean Pinkie’s curls are pointed inwards, reflecting her corrupted nature. If you notice, the real Pinkie’s cutie mark has a yellow balloon floating above two blue balloons, but for her cranky copy the yellow balloon is below the blue ones, reflecting her depression and pessimism. But the one thing that stands out the most are the way these two pink ponies express themselves. The real Pinkie Pie is always cheerful, wears a smile, and wishes to bring joy and happiness to other, while Mean Pinkie Pie is just cantakerous, depressed, gloomy and doesn’t care about making others smile.

The Element of Laughter wins round 3! A true friend wants to make you happy, even if it’s as something as simple as cracking a joke or being silly. But laughter isn’t about joy. When used correctly, it can connect people while breaking down the walls built by negative emotions. And so Pinkie Pie uses every aspect of laughter to bond with those around her and help them cope with their feelings.

Three nasty clones down, three to go. The Mane Six must stop them, and save Equestria before the harmony and friendship in Equestria is replaced with disharmony and misery. Get ready for the others everypony!
