I’ve heard of recycling ideas, but this is a whole new kind of recycling.
 
 
I’ve been updating Movie Slate in a relatively consistent fashion for almost a year, and somehow never uploaded a single one of those panels over here on DeviantArt. I never claim to be the sharpest tool in the shed, but even for me this was a pretty dull move. From this point on I’ve decided to upload at least one or two pictures every week, most from those updates I actually feel pretty good about.
 
Allegedly this movie used a rejected screenplay from the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, which at the time of writing this has yet to be announced or even given a trailer for. No matter, we have two movies that are very much FNAF in spirit, and because of one of them I got this done. This one took a stupid amount of time to draw, and I have no idea why. It’s not more complicated than the average update, so I might’ve been hitting a slump at the time of drawing it.
 
Regarding “The Banana Splits” and their movie, I have no particular feelings towards one or the other. It’s a thing that exists and doesn’t really call me all that much. But what about these movies based on cutesy IPs that are given the dark twist? Will we be seeing “Candyland” next put through the grimdark filter of modern reboots? What about “The Aristocats” directed by Tom Hooper?||||
