Personality/Background:

Ruby is an energetic and quite effervescing young Pegasus who doesn’t hide the fact that she’d have rather been a born alicorn instead of a Pegasus with huge wings. Which, up to now, are completely useless because they are too heavy for her to fly. (She can’t move them quick enough.) That’s why she continues arguing with her mother that she could transform her into an alicorn instead so she’d be a true, powerful princess and would be respected and loved by everyone. Her mother on the other hoof tries to tell her that her social and personal issues don’t have anything to do with her race. (Besides, Ruby deeply respects her mother but blames her for the fact that she chose an earth pony as her partner. If she only had chosen a unicorn she could have been born as an alicorn.)

She tries her best to suit her mother’s expectations and is always kind and portly outside of the castle. Inside however she can be bitchy if someone dares to mess up her mane or fur. Nethertheless she LOVES pigs. “They aren’t dirty! Plus, they have the same skin color like me!”

The pony she adores the most is Shining Armor, the Leader of the Royal Guard. In her eyes, he is more of a prince and a father figure than Black Apple Twig. In stormy, cold, and scary she sometimes bursts in his and princess Candance’s bedroom with a huge pillow under her wing and asks for sanctuary.

Ps.: I wasn’t sure wether I could use Flurry Heart but since Vindhov gave her her own personality and uses her in her NextGenUnivers I decided to do so.^^
