Saccharine reached the top of the hill to see.. no-one there. Huh, she said quietly to herself.
“And you just walked away?” Saccharine heard from the distance. She walked over quietly, and peered through a barn window.
Inside she spotted Frostbite, and who she could only assume to be her mother.
“I’m sorry, Mom.”
“There’s a unicorn, maybe another, IN THE FAMILY! You had a chance to get rid of them, and you didn’t take it.”
“She said it would take a week!”
“You don’t know that. She could have taken you for the fool you are.
“Please, I tried my best.”
“No, you didn’t.”
Saccharine gasped, quickly moving a hoof over her mouth. Brown Betty heard this and whipped around quickly, barely missing the purple unicorn, who’d ducked under the flowerbox.
“Hmm… no mind. Frost, get out.”
“W-what?”
“I said-” Frost’s mother opened the door, eyes closed smugly. “Get out. You aren’t welcome back until you can fix this mistake.”
