So, ages ago I made a character for an OC contest on a now defunct MLP forum. He was a silly idea that appeared at 3 AM. — An edgy teenager deer. Who dyed his fluff and wore leather.
 
I left it at that. But one of the judges of this contest was and is my friend. And he remembered.
 
Fast forward half a decade. A Pony-themed RPG Session. My character, Count Regal Inkwell is looking for a knight-errant to recruit to his cause, and happens to meet a gallant deer who is a knight separated from his home.
 
A young knight who is cursed to be constantly covered in black dust by a fairy who found his teenage shenanigans to be very funny.
